How many times has this happened to us... We have a shot that forces us to either be a man and hit straight over the water (which is the most terrifying thing ever) or continue to hit a short iron around the water and never have the chance to save par; but at least we don't lose any balls!
I have a feeling that we would be a lot more brave with our shots if we didn't have to pay for the balls we use.
And the fact that he walked off the course isn't that bad. I know I have simply not finished a hole and given myself the highest score possible. WE ALL HAVE THOSE HOLES... EVEN THE PROS! Maybe he should have stuck it out like the guy who hit it in the woods and ended up finishing the hole in double digits.
Yes he could have handled it better than storming off, but again he is human, and thank goodness for John Daly and his ability to keep us laughing.
